Terms of use
Using our website and booking with an independent shop through CalendarCut.
01About these terms
CalendarCut is operated by the Australian sole trader trading as CALENDAR CUT SOFTWARE, ABN 14 749 474 221. “CalendarCut”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that business.
These conditions cover CalendarCut’s public website and customer-facing booking features. Owners using the software should also read our terms of service and their accepted plan agreement.
Use information, booking tools and private links lawfully and consistently with these terms. Our privacy policy explains information handling; reading a policy or using this website does not itself give marketing permission.
02The shop providing your service
Each shop on a booking page is an independent business. It supplies the haircut, treatment or product, sets availability and prices, and is your contact for the service itself.
CalendarCut provides the software to arrange and manage the booking. This does not make us the supplier of the shop’s service or remove responsibility we have for our own software or conduct under applicable law.
Check the shop name, location, contact details and relevant conditions before confirming.
03Making and managing a booking
Provide accurate contact details and choose the intended service, barber or booking option, location and time. Have authority to provide details and manage a booking made for someone else.
Availability can change while you book. A time displayed before submission does not guarantee an appointment. Check the submission result and status in your confirmation or private management page. A request awaiting approval is not a confirmed appointment.
If the outcome is unclear, check with the shop before making another request. Refreshing the page or closing your browser does not cancel an appointment.
04Prices, payments and extras
The relevant booking or offer shows the price and payment conditions. Review optional products, treatments and extras before accepting. Confirm only an offer you intend to add.
Where online payment is offered, its provider handles checkout under its terms and privacy policy. Payment status and booking status are separate: do not assume one from the other.
Contact the shop about its charges, collections or appointment refunds. Contact CalendarCut if software has recorded an action incorrectly. Applicable statutory rights remain.
05Changes and cancellations
The shop’s disclosed cancellation, rescheduling, deposit and no-show conditions govern its services, subject to applicable law. Check them before booking and contact the shop for clarification.
Where available, use your private booking link to view, reschedule or cancel within those rules. Contact the shop if a change is unavailable online. Check that a requested change has been accepted or completed.
These terms do not impose a universal CalendarCut cancellation fee or remove a refund or other remedy provided by law.
06Private links and walk-in queues
Management, loyalty and queue links may provide access without a separate sign-in. Keep them private and share them only with someone authorised to act for you.
Joining a queue is different from reserving a fixed appointment. Queue order, staff availability and displayed estimates can change. Follow the shop’s check-in instructions and ask staff about your place or service.
Browser storage may help recover a ticket on the same device. Clearing it or changing devices can affect recovery. Our cookies and browser storage section explains this storage.
07Loyalty, offers and feedback
A shop’s published eligibility, qualifying-visit, expiry and redemption conditions apply to its benefits. Do not assume a reward is available until earned and recorded under those conditions.
Feedback should describe your experience honestly. Private feedback is shared with the relevant shop; it is not automatically a public review. External review services have their own rules.
Do not submit false reviews, impersonate another client, misuse referrals or claim rewards more than permitted.
08Respectful and lawful use
Do not harass people, submit fraudulent bookings, send spam, upload harmful or unlawful material, interfere with the service or access another person’s information without authority.
Respect CalendarCut’s website and branding and each shop’s content. Use the website for its intended purposes; do not commercially redistribute protected material without permission or another lawful basis.
We may take proportionate action against misuse or to protect accounts and information. Contact support@calendarcut.com if a restriction appears incorrect.
09External links and availability
External shop, payment, map, social and review services apply their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not guarantee or endorse every external statement.
Maintenance, faults or connectivity problems may interrupt access. Contact the shop if an urgent appointment change cannot be made online.
This page does not remove a non-excludable consumer right or remedy, or excuse CalendarCut from responsibility under applicable law.
10Contact and updates
Contact the shop about appointments, services, products or its policies. Contact support@calendarcut.com about CalendarCut website issues or our conduct.
We may update these terms, identifying the text by its date and version. Changes do not retrospectively change an accepted shop booking. Unless mandatory law or a specific agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
